Connecticut High School Basketball - Cromwell thwarts Sports & Medical Sciences Academy

The Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) basketball knocked off the host Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers (Hartford, CT), 50-40 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against North Branford (North Branford, CT). The Thunderbirds go into the Shoreline test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, North Branford notched a victory over Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT), 61-47, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Windsor for a North Central Connecticut test on Monday, December 19.
