The Blue Devils now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Caldwell for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 20. Maiden will battle a Spartans team coming off a 51-41 non-league loss to McDowell (Marion, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 6-3.

The Cavaliers (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Trojans come into the 2A Conference 45 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Bandys prevailed over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 59-58, in a league battle.
