Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hartselle Tigers (Hartselle, AL) and the visiting East Limestone Indians (Athens, AL), saw Hartselle's basketball squad hold off East Limestone by a count of 62-58.

With the victory, Hartselle upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cullman (Cullman, AL) to play the Bearcats in a 6A Area 14 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-1.

Next up, the Indians play the Tanner Rattlers (Tanner, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. East Limestone will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
