Easton Valley (Preston, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA), 61-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Easton Valley upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The travel to Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA) to play the Irish in a Big East bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Irish come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Prince of Peace Prep lost 70-69 in their recent non-league bout against Northeast (Goose Lake, IA)

Next up, the Lions play the North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Lisbon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
