The Syracuse Bulldogs (Syracuse, KS) basketball nipped the visiting Elkhart Wildcats (Elkhart, KS), 54-47 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Lakin (Lakin, KS). The Broncs go into the Hi-Plains test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Lakin got by Stanton County (Johnson, KS), 47-44, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Sublette for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Elkhart will encounter a Larks squad coming off a 77-58 non-league loss to South Gray (Montezuma, KS). The Larks record now stands at 4-2.
