Harmony Area Owls (Westover, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA), 56-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Harmony Area upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Owls travel to Curwensville (Curwensville, PA) to play the Golden Tide in a Moshannon Valley bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Golden Tide go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Salisbury Elk Lick Elks (Salisbury, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Ferndale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Elks go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 87-21 non-league win over Johnstown Christian (Hollsopple, PA).
