North Carolina High School Basketball - North Gaston overwhelmed by Forestview

The North Gaston Wildcats basketball team (Dallas, NC), was overwhelmed 72-51 in Friday's league battle with the host Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC)

The Jaguars now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashbrook for a 3A Conference 50 battle on Tuesday, December 20. Forestview will confront a Greenwave team coming off a 75-55 league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC). The Greenwave record now stands at 0-7.

The Wildcats (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers come into the 3A Conference 50 battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Kings Mountain trounced Huss (Gastonia, NC), 69-62, in a league battle.
