In Friday's league outing, the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) basketball squad nipped the host Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA), by a margin of 66-63.

The Warriors (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Rebels go into the AA Region 7 outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, Fannin County was tipped by Union County (Blairsville, GA), 62-42, in a non-league outing.

The Rebels now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Rockmart for a AA Region 7 outing on Saturday, December 17. Haralson County will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 63-59 league loss to Murray County (Chatsworth, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-4.
