Georgia High School Basketball - Greenbrier can't hold off Lakeside

The Lakeside Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Greenbrier Wolfpack to 57 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Aiken for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Lakeside will battle a Thoroughbreds team coming off a 64-47 non-league win over Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 5-2.
The Wolfpack (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Aquinas (Augusta, GA). The Fightin' Irish come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Aquinas was nudged by Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA), 53-51, in a league contest.
