The Griffin Bears basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Perry Panthers to 51 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westside for a AAAA Region 2 contest on Saturday, December 17. Griffin will battle a Seminoles team coming off a 61-59 league loss to West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 5-4.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Grovetown (Grovetown, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Grovetown dropped by Tri-Cities (East Point, GA), 74-72, in a non-league contest.
