The Hampshire Whip-Purs basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host McHenry Warriors to 29 in the Whip-Purs league victory on Friday.

The Whip-Purs now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palatine for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Hampshire will battle a Pirates team coming off a 33-16 league win over Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 7-2.

The Warriors (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL). The Blue Thunder come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Belvidere North prevailed over Jefferson (Rockford, IL), 53-51, in a league contest.
