The Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Hardin County Cougars to 41 in the Fighting Cardinals league victory on Friday.

The Fighting Cardinals now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carterville for a non-league contest on Monday, December 26.

The Cougars (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Carmi-White County (Carmi, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Carmi-White County prevailed over Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL), 52-35, in a league contest.
