North Carolina High School Basketball - West Mecklenburg overwhelmed by Hough

The West Mecklenburg Hawks basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 68-30 in Friday's league battle with the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC)

The Huskies now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinecrest for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 20. Hough will confront a Patriots team coming off a 68-61 non-league loss to Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-3.

The Hawks (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas come into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Palisades was overwhelmed by Olympic (Charlotte, NC), 78-59, in a league battle.
