Indian Springs (Pelham, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 77-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Indian Springs upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The travel to Midfield (Midfield, AL) to play the Patriots in a 3A Area 9 bout on Friday, January 6. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Eagles play the Ragland Purple Devils (Ragland, AL) in a 1A Area 10 bout, on Thursday, January 5. Jefferson Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
