The Jacksonville Fightin' Indians basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Kilgore Bulldogs to 41 in the Fightin' Indians non-league victory on Friday.
The Fightin' Indians now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Community for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Jacksonville will battle a Braves team coming off a 65-41 non-league loss to Denison (Denison, TX). The Braves record now stands at 2-12.
The Bulldogs (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Buckeyes come into the 4A Region III District 17 contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Gilmer prevailed over Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX), 60-55, in a non-league contest.
