Sabetha Bluejays (Sabetha, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Jefferson West Tigers (Meriden, KS), 63-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sabetha upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Bluejays host Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS) to play the Thunder in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Nemaha Central lost 58-53 in their recent non-league bout against Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS)

Next up, the Tigers play the Holton Wildcats (Holton, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Jefferson West will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 59-47 non-league win over Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS).
