The Jenkins County War Eagles routed the host Screven County Gamecocks basketball team by a final score of 56-33 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the War Eagles face the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 17. Jenkins County will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 1-5 record after their 67-39 non-league win over Glascock County (Gibson, GA).

With the defeat, Screven County moves to 3-6 on the year. The Gamecocks host Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, December 17. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 1-5. Emanuel County Institute won 57-49 in their recent non-league game against Metter (Metter, GA)
