In Friday's league match, the host Lewis Lancers basketball team scored a tight 37-30 triumph over the Justice Wolves.
In their next game, the Lancers face the Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 3. Lewis will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Majors enter the match with a 0-7 record after their 84-59 non-league loss to St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA).
With the defeat, Justice moves to 2-6 on the year. The Wolves travel to James Wood (Winchester, VA) to confront the Colonels in a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 21. The Colonels come into the battle with a record of 2-1.
