In Friday's league match, the visiting Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored a tight 44-42 triumph over the Northwest Vikings.

In their next game, the Minutemen meet the Schuyler Warriors (Schuyler, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 17. Lexington will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 0-5 record after their 70-17 league loss to Blair (Blair, NE).
