Georgia High School Basketball - Lumpkin County knocked off by Pickens

December 16, 2022: Jasper, GA 30143

The Pickens Dragons basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Lumpkin County Indians to 48 in the Dragons league triumph on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Murray for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Pickens will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 76-55 league win over Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 7-0.

The Indians (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cross Keys (Atlanta, GA). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record.
