Ohio High School Basketball - Madison overwhelmed by Mayfield

The Mayfield Wildcats basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the host Madison Blue Streaks to 46 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kenston for a Western Reserve contest on Tuesday, December 20. Mayfield will battle a Bombers team coming off a 70-37 league loss to Riverside (Painesville, OH). The Bombers record now stands at 0-6.
The Blue Streaks (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Lake Catholic triumphed over Benedictine (Cleveland, OH), 70-61, in a non-league contest.
