South Loup (Arnold, NE) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Medicine Valley Raiders (Curtis, NE), 77-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Loup upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The travel to Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Sandhills Valley won 53-33 in their recent non-league bout against Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE)

Next up, the Raiders play the Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Medicine Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 33-30 non-league win over Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE).
