Fans at Friday's league test between the Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the host Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX), witnessed Memorial's basketball squad nip Spring Woods by a margin of 42-36.

The Mustangs (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 16-1 record. In their last test, Rudder got by Brenham (Brenham, TX), 63-36, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Midland Legacy for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 28. Spring Woods will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 73-67 non-league loss to Plainview (Plainview, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 1-14.
