The Memphis School of Excellence Eagles (Memphis, TN) basketball knocked off the host Memphis Rise Academy (Memphis, TN), 58-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Southwind (Memphis, TN). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Southwind went down by Fayette Ware (Somerville, TN), 70-66, in a non-league test.
The now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Trezevant for a 2A District 14 test on Tuesday, January 3. Memphis Rise Academy will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 61-55 non-league loss to Arlington (Arlington, TN). The Bears record now stands at 4-7.
