In Friday's non-league outing, the Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX), by a margin of 61-43.
The Panthers (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Midland (Midland, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region I District 2 outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Midland defeated Merkel (Merkel, TX), 88-45, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Tascosa for a non-league outing on Monday, December 19. Midland Christian will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 52-43 non-league loss to Hirschi (Wichita Falls, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 8-8.
