In Friday's league outing, the Republic County Buffaloes (Belleville, KS) basketball squad nipped the host Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS), by a margin of 56-51.

The Buffaloes (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Concordia (Concordia, KS). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record.

The Lions now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Southeast of Saline for a non-league outing on Friday, January 6.
