The Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) basketball nipped the visiting Wenatchee Panthers (Wenatchee, WA), 68-62 in Friday's league test.
The Mavericks (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA). The Grizzlies go into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Sunnyside was tipped by West Valley (Yakima, WA), 49-44, in a league test.
