The Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA), 63-59 in Friday's league test.

The Indians (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Southeast Whitfield County was tipped by Cass (White, GA), 73-65, in a non-league test.

The Yellowjackets now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Haralson County for a AA Region 7 test on Saturday, December 17. Rockmart will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 66-63 league loss to Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 5-3.
