The North Buncombe Black Hawks basketball team (Weaverville, NC), was nudged 65-64 in Friday's league battle with the visiting T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC)

The Rams now possess a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watauga for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 21. T.C. Roberson will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 66-58 non-league loss to Davie (Mocksville, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-5.

The Black Hawks (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Villains come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record.
