Northwest Indians (Canal Fulton, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Tuslaw Mustangs (Massillon, OH), 55-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Northwest upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Indians host Fairless (Navarre, OH) to play the Falcons in a Principals bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Fairless lost 61-46 in their recent non-league bout against Carrollton (Carrollton, OH)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Smithville Smithies (Smithville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Tuslaw will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
