Pioneer Charter School of Science Panthers (Everett, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Notre Dame Cristo Rey Panthers (Lawrence, MA), 41-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pioneer Charter School of Science upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Community Charter School of Cambridge (Cambridge, MA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Community Charter School of Cambridge lost 86-47 in their recent league bout against Neighborhood House Charter (Dorchester, MA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Still River, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Notre Dame Cristo Rey will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
