South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), 75-55 in a league bout.

With the win, South Lyon East upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Cougars host Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI) to clash with the Warriors in a Lakes Valley bout on Monday, December 19. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Walled Lake Western lost 46-39 in their recent non-league bout against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Ford Trojans (Detroit, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Walled Lake Northern will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
