The Windsor Dukes basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Surry County Cougars to 29 in the Dukes league victory on Friday.

The Dukes now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin for a Tri-Rivers contest on Thursday, December 29. Windsor will battle a Broncos team coming off a 70-7 league win over Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA). The Broncos record now stands at 7-0.

The Cougars (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Northampton was defeated by Lancaster (Lancaster, VA), 74-57, in a non-league contest.
