The Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) basketball nipped the visiting West Orange-Stark Mustangs (Orange, TX), 67-63 in Friday's league test.
The Pirates (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Hardin (Hardin, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Hardin got by Broaddus (Broaddus, TX), 44-41, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Port Arthur Memorial for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29.
