Spectators at Friday's non-league outing between the Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) and the host Falls Church Jaguars (Falls Church, VA), witnessed Mount Vernon's basketball squad beat Falls Church by a margin of 39-29.
The Majors (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Lancers go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Lewis was beaten by Robinson (Fairfax, VA), 75-20, in a non-league outing.
The Jaguars now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Annandale for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 4.
