With the win, Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Royals host Trinity Christian (Hull, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a Freelance bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Trinity Christian won 41-37 in their recent non-league bout against South O'Brien (Paullina, IA)

Next up, the Westerners clash with the West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA) in a War Eagle bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Akron-Westfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
