The Appleton North Lightning basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Appleton West Terrors to 33 in the Lightning league triumph on Friday.

The Lightning now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Appleton East for a Fox Valley contest on Friday, December 23. Appleton North will meet a Patriots team coming off a 64-63 league win over Fond du Lac (Fond du Lac, WI). The Patriots record now stands at 5-4.

The Terrors (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI). The Wildcats enter the Fox Valley contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Oshkosh West was routed by Neenah (Neenah, WI), 68-35, in a league contest.
