Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS) and the visiting Falkner Eagles (Falkner, MS), saw Biggersville's basketball squad wallop Falkner by a count of 71-23.

With the victory, Biggersville upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Alcorn Central (Glen, MS) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 19. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Alcorn Central lost 50-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Belmont (Belmont, MS)

Next up, the Eagles play the Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS) in a 1A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Falkner will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
