The Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Brick Memorial Mustangs (Brick, NJ), 50-39 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Neptune (Neptune, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Neptune went down by Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ), 44-32, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Toms River North for a Shore A - South test on Tuesday, December 20. Brick Memorial will encounter a Mariners squad coming off a 49-39 non-league loss to Shawnee (Medford, NJ). The Mariners record now stands at 0-1.
