Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cypress Falls Eagles (Houston, TX) and the visiting Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX), saw Cypress Falls's basketball squad hold off Bridgeland by a count of 49-42.

With the victory, Cypress Falls upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to King (Houston, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 15-3.

Next up, the Bears play the Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Bridgeland will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record.
