The Union Bears basketball team (Appalachia, VA), was overwhelmed 68-45 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Central Wise Warriors (Norton, VA)

The Warriors now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owen J. Roberts for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 20. Central Wise will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 40-27 league win over Boyertown (Boyertown, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
