North Carolina High School Basketball - Corvian Community routs Queen's Grant

December 16, 2022: Matthews, NC 28105

In Friday's league outing, the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), by a margin of 68-29.

The Cardinals (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Metrolina Christian Academy smashed South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC), 74-33, in a non-league outing.

The Stallions now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cabarrus Charter for a 1A Conference 38 outing on Tuesday, December 20. Queen's Grant will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 33-15 league loss to Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 0-8.
