North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team trounce the visiting Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA), 71-19 in a non-league battle.
The Mountaineers now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilmer for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 17. North Murray will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 63-20 league loss to White County (Cleveland, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-10.
The Pumas (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Oakwood Christian (Chickamauga, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 7-1 record.
