The Des Moines North Polar Bears basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters to 33 in the Polar Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Polar Bears now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olathe North for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Des Moines North will meet a Eagles team coming off a 45-36 non-league win over Gardner-Edgerton (Gardner, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.

The Railsplitters (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (Des Moines, IA). The Huskies enter the Central Iowa Metro - Metro contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Hoover was routed by Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA), 58-10, in a non-league contest.
