The Detroit Community Hurricanes basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the host Rose Leadership Academy to 28 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Friday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Detroit Leadership Academy for a Freelance contest on Friday, January 6.

The (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Voyageur Academy (Detroit, MI). The Cougar come into the Charter contest with a 2-0 record.
