The Hillcrest Rams basketball team (Simpsonville, SC), was overwhelmed 64-33 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Eastside Eagles (Taylors, SC)

The Eagles now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph's Catholic for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 27. Eastside will meet a Knights team coming off a 57-11 non-league win over Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC). The Knights record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Hillcrest moves to 2-7 on the year. The Rams host Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, January 2. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 6-4.
