Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions (Magnolia, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting First Baptist Christian Warriors (Pasadena, TX), 53-19 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Legacy Prep Christian Academy upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 11-6. Concordia Lutheran won 47-27 in their recent non-league bout against Cooper (The Woodlands, TX)

Next up, the Warriors play the Northland Christian Cougars (Houston, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. First Baptist Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 45-41 non-league loss to Alpha Omega Academy (Huntsville, TX).
