Nazareth Area Blue Eagles (Nazareth, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA), 49-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nazareth Area upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Blue Eagles travel to Northampton (Northampton, PA) to play the Konkrete Kids in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Konkrete Kids come into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Patriots play the Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Freedom will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 42-33 league win over Whitehall (Whitehall, PA).
