Nebraska High School Basketball - Gothenburg crushes Holdrege

Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE), 45-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Gothenburg upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Swedes travel to Amherst (Amherst, NE) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Amherst won 68-31 in their recent non-league bout against Axtell (Axtell, NE)

Next up, the Dusters play the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Holdrege will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 37-33 non-league loss to Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE).
