Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA), 83-13 in a league bout.

With the win, Norcom upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA) to play the Ambassadors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Ambassadors go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Norfolk Christian won 56-14 in their recent non-league bout against Nandua (Onley, VA)

Next up, the Comets play the Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Granby will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Firebirds go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 39-23 non-league loss to Colonel Richardson (Federalsburg, MD).
